Responsible to develop channel long term strategic plan by brand (vision, platform, trade strategy etc.);
- Responsible for the proposal and development of all trade programs to support the team-leaders and sales managers;
- Develop the annual plan for trade programs and channel offers (incl. distribution package, trade promotion, influence program etc.) to support the business delivery;
- Responsible for establishing and managing the process of trade activities/evaluations by obtaining feedback through direct interaction with sales managers, trade service managers and team-leaders;
- Responsible for the resource allocation proposals for the trade management across spaces and business segments Execute and Monitor;
- Working closely with key customers to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance;
- Putting in place, monitor and improve processes to link all Marketing activities with the activities of the Sales team. Work closely with the Corporate Marketing to improve processes that link corporate brand building activities and Product Development activities with Sales activities;
- Work cross-functionally and with the Collaboration Model in order to agree on retail programme budgets across regions. Manage BTL budgets for POS and programme execution.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Preferred: MBA degree;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Trade Marketing within FMCG;
- Good project management skills;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Leadership and Team Management skills;
-Project management skills;
- Used to interpreting data and driving value adding insights;
- Budget management experience;
- Experience leading the Trade Marketing function including specific experience in evaluating the needs of the field and translating that into specific marketing programs;
- A strong record of creating a winning vision in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on merchandising, promotion, and partnerships;
- Proven success working in a fast paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are complemented by hard-driving promotional activities;
- Proven ability and desire to help build a Marketing infrastructure, including processes, methodologies and tools required to drive Marketing effectiveness.
