Test engineer

Belgian Company is actively looking for a test engineer.
The candidate will become a member of the QA test team, and be responsible for the preparation and
execution of tests scenarios under the supervision and test planning of a test lead.
She/he will be asked to acquire in-depth knowledge of the business problem and the application(s)
under test.
The test role in the QA test team requires the candidate to be technical experienced and quality
minded.

Responsibility
• (manual) execution of tests scenarios under the supervision of a test lead
• elaborate test scenarios based on the business requirements and functional analysis
• bug reporting and follow-up, listing clearly the test conditions and results.
• daily synchronisation with the test lead on progress and issues of test preparation and
execution

Experience & expertise
• at least 2 years relevant experience in software testing of complex applications
• sound knowledge of a test methodology (TMap, STBox, ISTQB,..)
• an ISTQB certification is an asset
• minimal programming knowledge (C#, .NET, SQL, XML,PL/SQL…)
• experience of testing interconnected data-driven applications is a plus
• knowledge of the UML modelling language is an asset
• Tools
o documentation tools (Microsoft Office or equivalent)
o knowledge of a test management tool is an asset
