Telecom consultant

On behalf of an internationally based leader in telecommunications, Grant Thornton Moldova-Romania is looking for consultants willing to work in multicultural and foreign environments in the following domains:

- Access : Radio, xDLS, FTTx
- Core : CS, PS, IMS
- Transmission : MW, optical/copper
- IP: IP/MPLS, IP Security
- SVA

With the following jobs’ description :

Mission
- Assistance to Telecom customers in the development of their activities

Tasks:
- Network and services audit, recommendations for improvement
- Creation of master plans and related budget
-Execution of architecture solutions for the integration of new platforms or services
RFQ ( Request for Quotation): definition of specifications, assessment of vendors’s technical, economical solutions and offers, execution of contractual negotiations
- Execution of Engineering activities including creation of HLD, LLD ( High Level Design, Low Level Design)
- Testing: definition and implementation of test plans for assessment, interworking, interoperability or integration of network elements or services
- Optimisation in order to improve the Quality of Experience of the End Customer
- Execution of Operation activities: 1st and 2nd levels
- Network security control and implementation
- Project Management
- Vendor management
- Transfer of knowledge

Competencies:

General competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years experiences in equivalent technical position with a telecom company
- Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication / Electronics or equivalent university degree
- Deep understanding about operator business and operational processes in connection with the domain of expertise
