You will join the team in charge of delivering online help for software aimed at financial market professionals. You will play a key role throughout the documentation cycle from requirements analysis, to organizing information, and describing the financial concepts at the heart of our client's innovative solutions.
You will collect and analyse information from diverse sources, such as technical and functional specifications, and the product itself. Once this phase is completed, you will take part in the implementation and validation of the module online help.
Responsibilities:
Closely working with both local and remote teams, you will:
- Attend product presentations and other training sessions
- Conduct user task analysis
- Write, edit, and format online help
- Apply technical writing guidelines, ensuring compliance of online help to in-house style and standards and adherence to Information Mapping methodology
Skills required:
The ideal candidate must be a native or fluent English speaker with:
- An undergraduate degree, preferably in technical technical communication or professional writing with information technology or finance courses
- Excellent English-language writing and editorial skills, possibly with a background in training
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to work in a team, as well as being quality-oriented, user-focused, and committed to meeting deadlines
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (notably Word and Excel)
Optional skills:
- A good knowledge of financial markets and instruments in one or more of the following asset classes: bonds, shares, money market, exchange & derivative prices
- Experience using FrameMaker and the Information Mapping methodology would be a valuable plus
Compensation:
The salary will depend on interview results and tests.
