TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER
The company:
R&D office of an international company, provider of communications products and services
Job Description:
Responsible for providing onsite and remote support to customers, managing customer service request tickets, conducting field activities such as system upgrades and maintenance visits.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical Support for company's Customers on own and third party products (IP Networking, RF and Satellite communication),
• Perform software upgrades, onsite installation, site survey, and problems deep analysis,
• Perform Customer visits, provide analysis reports, technical document and frontal training,
• Resolve Customer Service Request within SLA.
Requirements:
• English (speaking and writing) – mandatory,
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols - mandatory,
• Ability to travel abroad – mandatory,
• Relevant technical education (Electronics/Networking engineer etc.) – mandatory,
• Satellite communication or other radio technology – advantage,
• Experience in high tech/IT customer support – advantage,
• Working with Linux and Windows operating environments – advantage,
• Previous experience in the telecom domain, infrastructure, network implementation & administration, installations and troubleshooting – advantage,
• Good communication skills and teamwork, flexible,
• Experience with remote connection (Team viewer, VPN, VNC) – advantage,
• Be familiar with Cisco switches and routers (Commands, configuration, routing protocols) – advantage,
• Romanian (European) Passport – advantage.
