MicroTech is an exciting new gaming startup in Kishinev, Moldova. We’re working hard to create a state-of-the-art, next-generation gaming platform that will blow the competition out of the water. System/IT Person (#MD06)
The right person for this job is someone who loves managing challenging internet production sites with high uptime requirements for millions of users. You will spec and build out our production and staging environments, and assist with live problem troubleshooting and resolution. You will also be charged with supporting the back office and development environments.
Job Requirements:
• IT management experience (at least 3 years' experience)
• Experienced with configuration and management of the following tools:
o Linux, Windows (both servers and desktops)
o Apache
o Memcached
o mysql
o MSSQL
o Storage, volume management
o Firewalls, networking, VLANs, routing, load-balancers
o VPN systems
o SAN, HBAs, zoning
• A great team player
• Willing to work odd hours, and be on call when needed.
• A process-oriented person, creates repeatable processes
• Fast learner, fast executor
• Great command of English, both written and spoken
