Specialized researcher

Navanti seeks multiple specialized researchers from all regions of Moldova for project-based work with our multidisciplinary team. Specialized researchers will use their knowledge of politics, government, and social issues within the region to provide real time information, and local narratives. Desirable candidates will have a keen interest to gather data pertinent to the political and economic factors and security challenges affecting Moldova. The Specialized Researcher will provide real-time information and accurate insight in his or her area of focus through in-person and telephone interviews and research. These interviews may address factors affecting security, governance, communications and development, to include humanitarian assistance.

Desired locations: Nationwide. Domestic travel within Moldova required.

Requirements:
• Access to smart phone with functioning GPS
• Competent with smart phones
• Must provide a CV and valid official identification
• Ability to travel domestically

Desired Skills:
• Professional proficiency in English
• Fluency in Russian and Moldovan/Romanian
• Knowledge of Gagauz a bonus
• Strong computer skills
• University education (not less than two years)
• Competent with conducting interviews and/or surveys
• Competent with social media
• Competent with photography
• Clean work history and background
