Software testing consultant

The primary objectives of this assignment are to ensure that:
1.Selected software applications are developed according to the Technical Specifications;
2.User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process is performed in a smooth and controlled manner as to ensure efficient transition to operations of selected software application;
3.Performance requirements of implemented software applications are met;
4.QA standards are respected during the implementation of software applications;
5.Implemented software applications are tested according to eGC QA standards and are free of major issues.

Minimum qualification requirements:
-University degree in areas such as computer sciences, engineering, and telecommunications or related;
-Minimum 3 years of in-depth software testing and Quality Assurance.
-Good knowledge of the software lifecycle development with emphasis on the Quality Assurance aspects.
-Certifications in testing (such as ISEB or other) are considered an advantage;
-Ability to effectively communicate and write in Romanian and English. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.

This is a part-time assignment (time-based contract) expected to commence in November 2013. The contract will be signed for a period of 1.5 years. Subject to Consultant’s satisfactory performance and the same unit rates, the contract might be extended.
