Position Summary
The Software Developer Engineer –Test is an integral part of QA team, aiding in the test and development of suite of software products. The successful candidate must have strong Java knowledge, experience testing enterprise products, develop automation of the test cases and scenarios. The candidates will also be required to design, develop and deliver test frameworks, tools and test implementations. The successful candidate will also help drive and implement standards for testing within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
# Design, develop and document test software components using established best practices
# Maintain and support current testing frameworks system
# Perform code and design review
# Hand-on development and maintenance of software applications/component

Required Skill Set & Experience
# BA/BS in Computer Science or related field required
# 4+ years hands on commercial software development utilizing Java
# 2+ years experience with Junit, TestNG, JMeter, or other unit and performance testing
# 5+ years experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python or bash
# 1+ Years of knowledge using SVN / Ant / Maven
# 2+ Years Experience with database query languages like SQL or PL/SQL
# 1+ Years of development experience on one or more of the following technologies: JavaScript / DHTML / XHTML / XSLT / CSS / XML / XSD
# Experience with configuration of web servers like Apache and Java application servers like Tomcat
# Ability to work independently with minimum guidance
# Must be able to adapt to changing needs of the business
# Experience with software development lifecycle, Agile Development practices is a plus
