Software Development Architect

Antex International, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and the international subsidiary FIS SpA a multi-divisional company with 40 years of operations in Italy has expanded it EMEA operations to include a process facility in Chisinau, Moldova. Antex FIS clients for business process outsourcing services include many of the world's leading Fortune 500 multinational corporations.

Specific functions include:
- Perform complex analysis, design, programming, and modifications of computer programs for software products and/or Applications
- Write code and complete programming, testing, and debugging of Applications
- Determine forms, procedures, and other documentation needed for installation and maintenance of Application programs
- Interface with marketing and customers to add new or custom features to company products
- May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional staff
- Participate in the ongoing development of global Applications to support business operations
- Provide expertise and thought leadership in the implementation of the physical and logical architectures for selected Applications
- Ensure that new IT solutions preserve architectural integrity and consistency with approved standards and strategies
- Advise the Manager of Enterprise Architecture and senior members of the IT leadership team concerning architectural matters
- Work across organizations to guide adherence to architecture principles and standards
- Lead cross-organizational teams to achieve architecture objectives
- Provide expertise and thought leadership to design solutions that provide appropriate levels of performance, scalability, and reliability
- Ensure that all designs comply with architectural standards
- Work with the development teams and the architecture community to review and obtain agreement for architecture designs
- Guide development teams in the assessment of new technologies to understand how those technologies could improve the effectiveness or efficiency of the solutions provided by the IT organization and position the organization to support the business objectives for the company
- Serve as a subject matter expert for selected products

Requirements. The minimum requirements to qualify for this position are as follows:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in application design and development, with at least 2 years of experience in an architecture role
- Experience developing global applications with high transaction volumes and that deliver high levels of availability and performance
- Experience with one or more of the following development tools: .NET Framework and/or Visual Studio
- Experience with industry standard web server architectures.
- Thought leadership; a visionary and an innovative thinker
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Comfortable working within all levels of the organization
- Strong relationship-building skills
- English proficiency (written & verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's in Computer Science or Engineering or MBA
- Experience with messaging middle ware and Service-Oriented Architectures
- Experience in implementing solutions using Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, including integration between legacy applications and the SaaS solution
- Experience in developing and deploying in “dot.net” environment

Salary will be based on experience and highly competitive. Position will require regular travel to Geneva, Switzerland for meetings with senior management.
