Site supervisor

The Representative Office of URS Federal Services International, Inc. is announcing a vacancy for the position of Site Supervisor, having an engineering technical education and work experience in positions supervising and managing construction activities.
Location: territory of the Republic of Moldova
Employment status: fix-term labor contract
Beginning of work: February-March 2013

Responsibilities:
Major essence of activity of the Site Supervisor is to provide direct oversight of construction and installation activities performed by subcontractors at remote sites in Moldova for the purpose of coordination and ensuring high quality of construction.

Requirements:
• Working knowledge of Moldovan design and construction codes, standards, and regulations.
• Working knowledge of Moldovan occupational health and safety standards for construction sites.
• Skills required to read and interpret design drawings for civil and electrical systems and installations.
• Translation techniques for scientific and technical documents.
• Essential computer skills in word processing, messaging, and reporting programs to fulfill job requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of Russian and Romanian (written and spoken).
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills or the ability to communicate verbally in English.
• Flexibility and readiness to travel to regions.
• Self-discipline to work reliably without direct supervision.
