Site managers

We have an immediate requirement for experienced Site Managers – Mechanical to join our Design & Construct team, to oversee the day-to-day construction and delivery of our mechanical construction projects. This position will be a fixed term contract.

As a hands-on Site Manager you will work alongside the Project Manager to complete project deliverables with key responsibilities to include:

*Ensure projects are delivered within budget, deadlines and specification of the clients’ requirements;
*Provide leadership and direction to all site personnel and sub-contractors;
*Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately and contribute strong technical knowledge across all trades and services;
*Provide solutions and continuous improvement initiatives during construction; and
*Lead by example in regards to compliance with safety, health, quality and environmental regulations and procedures.

To be successful in this role, essential criteria includes:

*Tertiary or Trade qualifications in relevant technical discipline i.e. mechanical fitter, boilermaker;
*Previous experience in the construction of materials handling solutions, including conveyors, silos, bins, feeders and loading/unloading equipment;
*Proven track record in delivering projects with outstanding results;
*Demonstrated ability in providing technical input and advice for the delivery of the project; and
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining relationships.

Qualifications:

Applicants should:

*Hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in steel erection and/or construction
*Hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Managers Card
*Hold a Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certicifate
*Be an Appointed Person (Cranes) or a Crane Supervisor
