Site Engineer

Reporting to:

Project Manager and Project Engineer

Responsibilities and authority:

1.Setting out of works according to requirements.
2.Executing jobs on site in accordance with the program of works.
3.Maintaining continuous supervision of work in quality control.
4.Distributing labor force daily to various areas of work.
5.Preparing Material Requisitions for normal site requirements.
6.Following-up technical matters, checking and coordinating all drawings and implementation
on site.
7.Controlling work of Foreman, Trade Foreman, Charge hand, Labor Supervisors and other
site staff.
8.Reporting to Project Engineer on daily basis regarding their works as required.
9.Liaising with consultant’s site supervisors to execute their works as required.
10.Maintaining, and reports to superiors, on variations or additional items requested from the
Consultant on site.
11.Reporting to supervisors on contradictory information on drawings, and receiving and
implementing instructions of PE/PM relating to correct course of action to be taken.
12.Checking materials received on site in the sense of compliance with requirements.
13.Supervising and reporting on the performance of Subcontractors on site.

Experience on a similar position: 5-6

years experience in building construction
