SEO specialist

We are looking for a smart and reliable SEO Specialist to develop and implement the company's traffic growth strategy. Candidates must be able to multi-task, work independently, show initiative, and meet deadlines. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of organic search algorithms, a passion for search marketing, an analytical mindset, and a background in marketing - preferably in an ecommerce environment. The SEO specialist will be responsible for driving organic traffic and revenue growth through all major search engines through a variety of on and off site initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive organic marketing strategy, including:
• Keyword research
• Optimizing page content
• Link building
• Adding content
• Auditing & ensuring all pages on the site adhere to SEO best practices
• Generating reports across all organic search channels to drive ROI
• Monitoring Google Analytics daily and applying insights to current or future strategies
• Working closely with writers and web developers to implement website changes that increase conversion rate and drive search rankings
• Staying abreast of the constantly changing organic competitive environment. Proactively addressing potential problems, issues, etc
• Monitoring emerging trends in the overall online marketplace.

Qualifications Required:

• 2-3 years of online marketing experience with a specialization in SEO
• Understanding of basic and advanced SEO tactics
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Basic HTML knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid understanding of social media and its application in business


Preferred:

• Experience with other areas of online marketing (email, CPC, display, etc)
• Experience with PPC programs, including Google Adwords and Microsoft AdCenter
• Experience with SEOmoz Campaign Manager
• Experience with Drupal
• Experience in an ecommerce environment
• Knowledge of basic marketing and business strategy
