Senior Testing Engineer

(Code: TE_1003)

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer, to play a key role in testing software products during the software development life cycle.

You will have the opportunity to:
design and develop test strategy;
create functional and non-functional test plans/test scenarios;
gain experience in using various test management tools, test automation tools;
document testing procedures and organize test activities.
You will have responsibility for analysis of test data and reporting on these data to senior management and project stakeholders.

You will also be involved in implementing functional automated testing including creation of automation test strategy, identification of which tests can be automated and developing automation.

You will work very closely with the software development team and will be expected to contribute to the continued improvement of testing processes in Endava, by joining Endava testing subdisciplines and become expert in areas like test management, test analysis and design, functional automation, security testing, performance testing, DB testing, GUI testing.

Required skills:
- Strong knowledge in software testing and its role in development process;
- Strong knowledge in a variety of testing methodologies and techniques;
- Knowledge in project measurements (software metrics);
- Knowledge in test automation;
- Knowledge in requirements analysis and testing;
- Knowledge in testing-related tools (version control, defect tracking, test automation, condition simulation, monitoring);
- Programming skills is a plus;
- Ready for challenges, performance and innovation;
- Previous experience working in software testing is a plus;
- Computer science degree;
- Good knowledge of English and Romanian (written and speaking);
- Team-working;
- Availability to travel abroad.
