Senior System Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Linux based servers maintenance.
- OS and software maintenance and configuration
- Backup configuration and restore.
- Troubleshooting of the problems escalated by lower level technical support.
- System troubleshooting and effective solution of the customer issues.
- Customer Tickets resolving according to internal rules and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong Linux or Windows administering experience, working in IT-company (work at
hosting provider is an essential advantage).
- Strong experience in administration of hosting platforms.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and other network protocols.
- Ability to automatize system administration tasks (perl, sh – for Linux specialists).
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks and quickly switch between them.
- Ability to be persistent in stressful situations and to work periodically on weekends.
- Good knowledge of English (written, verbal) is a must.
- High-quality Internet access, properly functioning computer, UPS.
- Knowledge of at least one configuration management systems (puppet,chef or cfengine - for Linux specialists).
