Senior logistics manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible in overseeing, managing and ensuring receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations are in place and comply with policies and standard operation procedures. The incumbent will support and coordinate with various stakeholders such as Retail Operations team, Supplier Management team, Home Delivery team, and any external parties such as freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure inbound flow (from order processing to goods receipt) is timely and accurate. The incumbent should also control inventory levels in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods. He/she would need to reconcile with data storage system to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in operations.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management - optional, but good to have.

• At least 1 years of experience in Warehouse Management

• Knowledge in different functional areas of transportation, warehouse, distribution, inventory planning and management etc

• Certification in supervisory/safety courses will be an added advantage

• Proven ability to operationalise warehouse and internal logistics strategy to ensure day to day warehouse performance is consistently maintained and effectively integrated the ability to proactively and efficiently scale operations in line with business needs

• Ability to operate and prioritise in a fast paced and dynamic environment

• High adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business environment

• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing big teams and excellent command and control on the floor
