As a result of substantial increase in operations in Moldova, Trans-Oil Group of Companies is looking for Senior Accountant to join our expanding Accounting department in Chisinau.
Responsibilities:
• Make accurate and regular records of company’s transactions, properly collect and timely process primary documents, complying with local legislation requirements as well as international reporting requirements.
• Timely register and process suppliers invoices, prepare respective payment documents to ensure timely payments to the supplier.
• Responsible of quarterly and yearly closing process for the company under his responsibility
• Contribute to effective cash flow management to ensure adequate and timely financing of the activities.
• Timely execute bank and cash transactions, credit and currency environment control.
• Contribute to the organization budget development to support business growth and maximize return on investment.
• Contribute to annual records review and support the process of ongoing records management, assist in collection financial company documents.
To succeed in this role you will have or be proficient in the following:
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years accounting/finance experience
• Previous working experience in an agriculture company will be a plus
• Strong knowledge of the local statutory accounting requirements/principles & local tax legislation; IFRS knowledge would be a plus
• Detail oriented, organized, committed to deadlines and autonomous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Proficiency with ICT tools, including MS Office software
• Good knowledge in operating within the accounting software Universal Accounting
• Romanian, Russian – fluent; English – at least at intermediate high level
