Security guard

QSI International School of Chisinau is looking for a qualified Day Guard for a full-time position (Mon-Fri).

Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Day Guard discharges the following functions:
• Patrols and maintains security of the QSI premises and grounds, and reports any irregularities to the Director;
• Responds to emergencies affecting safety of the premises and notifies supervisor and emergency services. Immediately undertakes all appropriate actions to respond to emergency;
• In event of any emergency follows the procedures outlined in the QSI Security Plan;
• Checks that all office machines, air conditioners, lights, etc., are turned off after working hours;
• Controls admissions of authorized personnel and movements of School property into and out of the School premises;
• Assists receptionist in welcoming the School guests and directing them to respective staff;
• Prevents unwanted visitors from entering the School premises;
• Performs other duties and functions as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• At least secondary education; University Degree is desirable, but is not a requirement;
• Three (3) years of experience in security, preferably in the military or police context or related field of work. Prior experience with international organizations is desirable;
• Fluency in Romanian and Russian; Knowledge of spoken English is mandatory;

The monthly salary for this position is 6000 lei.
