About the Role:
At Tanit Group, the Sales Manager plays a key role in expanding our client portfolio and strengthening relationships across international and Ukrainian markets. This is not just a “cold calling” sales position—it’s a strategic role focused on building long-term partnerships with clients who rely on efficient, customized logistics solutions.
Responsabilities:
• Drive business growth by actively sourcing new B2B clients in Ukraine and the EU region (sea, air, rail, and road freight).
• Lead the full sales cycle—from identifying client needs and offering optimal logistics solutions to preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
• Manage client relationships, acting as their main point of contact and personal account manager, ensuring smooth passage of shipments and clear communication .
• Collaborate closely with other teams and departments to ensure seamless execution of transport services.
• Achieve KPI targets, including new contracts, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
• 2+ years in B2B sales—ideally in logistics, forwarding, or related services
• Proven ability to generate and convert leads through cold outreach (calls, emails, networks)
• Strong understanding of global logistics services, including containerized freight, oversized/heavy cargo, LCL, air freight, and customs processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Results-driven mindset and a customer centric approach
• Romanian (fluent), English (Upper-Intermediate and above), Ukrainian/Russian (would be nice)
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics
• Established relationships with shipping lines, truckers, and forwarding partners
• Understanding of international freight markets and regulatory environments
Personality / Mindset:
• Support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity
• Team player with advanced communication and collaboration skills
• A hands-on, can-do attitude - always looking for solutions and thinking out of the box
