Sales engineer

Gibas Numeriek is the n°1 machinery sales and service company in East-Europe. The principal activity of our company is sales and service of machinery to industrial customers in the metal and plastic production business.

The company is organised in 3 reportable segments :

• CNC Metal cutting machines
• Robotisation
• Plastic injection machines.

Due to our increasing demand and success in East europe we are recruiting following persons for our Ukraine division:

5 Sales engineers for
metal working machinery

for following regios :

North: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy
Center: Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kirovograd
West: Lutsk, Rivne, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi
East: Kharkiv, Voroshylovhrad, Dhipropetrosk, Donetsk, Zaporozhia
South: Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Symferopil


Competencies and behaviours :

• Knowledge of English language (other language is a plus)
• Willingness to travel intensively 50-70% of the time inside Ukraine, and fulfilling several trips to West Europe, Japan, Taiwan, …
• Working fully independent and not expecting a 9 to 5 job
• Having passion for mechanics
• Motivating people with proven sales experience OR with proven metal working experience have a plus.

Key result areas:
• Source potential customers in the region
• Identify the customers needs
• Negotiate and manage contracts
• Liaise with the engineering design team to come up with the best solution for the client
• Optimise key client relationships and personally participate in major negotiations
• Develop and pursue sales leads through direct contacts with potential clients and through trade shows or industry publications
