Safety assistant

SAFETY ASSISTANT NEEDED!

Responsibilities
- Process hiring, create hire folders, pull termination folders
- DQ file preparation and upkeep per DOT requirements
- Perform background and reference checks
- Create and maintain equipment folders
- Safety compliance files data intro and internal recordkeeping
- Other tasks as required by manager

Basic Requirements
- Experience working in safety and/or risk management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word programs
- Ability to multi task effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others in a fast paced team environment
