Safety assistant

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with ALL relevant transportation regulations in the USA
Plan and coordinate quarterly safety meeting for all truck drivers
Monitoring and maintain third party training for fleet
Maintain all equipment files (trucks, Trailers, Chassis, and yard equipment) & maintain the Preventive Maintenance Program
Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date.
Monitor and review HOS compliance and accuracy and correct issues
Produce monthly CVOR violation rates and submit it to the Operations Manager
Ensure driver operators safety manual is current and ready to distribute at safety meetings
Produce spot Hot Topic safety alerts for drivers and write up, edit and publish quarterly newsletters
Conduct and/or assist with accident/collision and incident investigation
Communicate with insurance provider regarding claims
Other responsibilities as assigned


Job Skills & Qualifications:

Associate degree in business or related field;
Bachelor degree or higher in a related field;
Languages - russian, romanian,english - intermediate level;
Be able to work in office
Responsibilities:

Ability to work in the team;
Ability to communicate with Drivers in order to correct, adjust or fill out the right info;
Ability to work the night shift from 15:00 to 23:00.
