Quality assurance consultant

This is a part-time assignment (time-based contract) expected to commence in November 2013. The contract will be signed for a period of 1.5 years.
The primary objectives of this assignment are to ensure that:

1. The fit for purpose quality assurance practices and standards are defined and followed across the entire

software development lifecycle of e-services and information systems developed under e-GC, from a strategic

and operational points of view.

2. Quality Assurance process is performed in a smooth and controlled manner as to ensure efficient transition to

operations of selected software application.

Minimum qualification requirements:

• Higher degree in Computer sciences;

• Advanced knowledge of Software Quality Assurance techniques and standards;

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing software quality management for large scale business applications;

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills;

• Experience in working with governmental organizations would be considered an asset;

• Relevant certifications (such as ISTQB) would be considered an asset;

• Ability to effectively communicate and write in Romanian and English. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.

The assignment is expected to commence in November 2013 with estimated level of effort of 200 days. The contract (lump-sum) will be signed for a period of 1.5 years. Subject to Consultant’s satisfactory performance and the same fee rate, the contract might be extended.
