Project Manager

Reporting to: Contracts manager

Responsibilities and authority:

1.Maintaining responsibility for successful completion of projects within specified time.
2.Maintaining good relations with Consultants and Client.
3.Maintaining control of Sub-contractor/suppliers and ensuring proper execution.
4.Controlling and drafting all correspondence related to the project and attending all project
meetings.
5.Preparing cost control measures and procedures to ensure cost effective execution of
projects.
6.Maintaining responsibility for the overall execution of the project works in accordance with
the set program.
7.Preparing the program of works in liaison with the Project Engineers.
8.Progressing/ Reviewing the Schedule of materials and material requirements with P.E. and
monitoring procurement process of materials.
9.Negotiating with Subcontractors and suppliers and reporting to management to finalize
orders.
10.Ensuring the availability of plant and labour as required, in coordination with Contracts
Manager (and other P.M./P.E.).
11.Maintaining responsibility for general quality control and safety practices on site.
12.Coordinating the technical and contractual matters relating to the works with management
and Q.S. Department.
13.Undertaking the duties and responsibilities of Project Engineer in case the latter is not
available.

Experience on a similar position:
15 years Experience in Project Management(High rise towers)
