Program Specialist (Chisinau)
The International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) seeks Moldovan candidates to fill in the position of Program Specialist (PS) for IREX/CPP. Sponsored by US Government though the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Moldova Citizen Participation Program (CPP) is a five-year program to assist citizens in using democratic process and individual initiative to improve living and social conditions in local communities throughout Moldova.
The Program Specialist (PS) will produce reports and promotional pieces written in the English and Romanian languages. In addition, the PS will help coordinate programmatic activities as needed.
Candidates must have a university degree in a relevant field and three years of professional work experience. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated interest in democratic principles and processes and possess strong computer skills. Fluency (speaking and writing) in English and Romanian is essential. Russian language skills will also be beneficial.
