Product Release Manager

Kishinev/BA branch of Allied Testing, a US/UK outsourcing company in the Information Technology sector, is looking for Release Manager. The Manager will be responsible and accountable for overall planning, scheduling and delivery of software releases with focus on selected Lines of Business (LOB).

Work Experience:
- 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field,
- Must possess a minimum of 5-7 years experience in the IT field
- Hands on project management experience with successful implementation of enterprise wide large scale projects
- Ability to manage large projects with proven experience rolling out software releases at an enterprise level
- Experience managing virtual teams
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated use and knowledge of various quality programs/standards
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Must have a strong understanding of Quality and Process Improvement principles.
- Must be strategic in approach to support and enhance the Corporate Strategy.
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage and resolve multiple complex issues utilizing a variety of systems and resources
- Must be very detail oriented
- Sense of urgency and commitment to providing the best support possible to both internal and external clients
- Demonstrates a solid understanding product/project lifecycles
- Basic knowledge of new and emerging technologies available in the marketplace

The job assumes the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multiple teams (Project Management, Infrastructure, Software Development Directors) to govern and monitor Release Management policies, processes and KPIs
- Train Testing Services staff and Release Leads on Release Management policies and processes
- Collaborate on Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Calendars
- Holistic release planning across all Lines of Business, and technical organizations
- Ensure that all releases are staffed appropriately all organizations
- Ensure appropriate usage of environments
- Coordinating with the Implementation teams to ensure that co-dependencies between new processes and tools and deployment plans are accommodated
- Responsibilities include tracking the entire release process, keeping all involved people informed about the state of the release including dates, defects, status, final release report
- Escalate unresolved issues and risks
- Work with senior management on risk mitigation and implementation alternatives
- Publish go-no go assessments for each release, including input from relevant groups
- Participate in publication of monthly KPI's

The position assume full time job in the company office. Part time or remote work is not applicable!
Candidates have to sustain a technical interview in EN. The company provides a set of training courses within trial period.
