Optimum is looking for a Team Lead Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience developing web applications.
Previous experience with large projects.
The candidate will also need to be prepared to help junior and mid-level developers and have the ability to lead a network of developers around the world.
The candidate must display excellent communication English skills including both written and verbal.
• Lead a team to continue to design and develop software based on Javascript/NodeJS/PHP/MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Perform code reviews and keep the source code under control in Git. Strong Git skills is a must
• Deploy applications on linux environments. Must know how to work with Vagrant and Docker
• Experience with CI, Deployment Automation. You will be asked to show a real example.
• Should demonstrate ability to detect a Technical problem quickly on a real server environment
(example will be provided by interviewer).
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet various demands of client programming.
Candidate should provide his code examples on github or bitbucket.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in PHP.
• Database design experience in MySQL
• Proficient with core web technologies including jQuery and CSS.
• Symfony 2/Zend Frameworks (not a must-have but is a plus)
• Understanding HTTP
• REST Services (both consuming and designing)
