Php / JavaScript developer

This is a remote, home-based position.

Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking intelligent, hard-working, passionate PHP / JavaScript Developer that wants to do interesting work. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 10 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Work is interesting and challenging.

Skills required:
Good English reading and writing skills. Ideally good verbal English skills.
Strong PHP skills.
Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Yii, Laravel, Zend).
Experience with SQL databases.
Fronted programming skills: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript including Javascript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Backbone.js, knockoutjs, node.js).
2+ years experience in software development.
Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
Good home computer and internet connection.

Skills preferred (optional):
Experience with Amazon Services.
Experience with TCP/IP, Web Sockets.
Experience with audio and video programming.
Experience with 2D/3D graphics programming.
We prefer full-time candidates, but part-time candidates will be also considered.
