Hey Roger Smith provides dispatch services for auto carriers across the United States.
As we expand our operations, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily activities and optimize internal processes.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized, strategic, and operations-focused leader with experience in a corporate environment
The ideal candidate is knows how to make things run smoother, and can keep the team performing at a high level!
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across dispatch, carrier support, and admin teams
Implement systems and processes to improve performance and efficiency
Monitor KPIs, load volume, truck utilization, and dispatcher productivity
Train and mentor dispatchers and team leads
Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve them fast
Ensure excellent carrier experience and retention
Report to CEO and contribute to strategic scaling decisions
What We’re Looking For
3+ years experience in operations, preferably in logistics or dispatching
Experience managing teams
Strong skills in process building, KPI tracking, and problem-solving
Organized, assertive, and able to lead with confidence and clarity
Comfortable using Google Sheets, Trello, CRM, and similar tools
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience in car hauling dispatch operations
Built SOPs or training systems from scratch
Managed compensation structures or commission teams
