Who is our client:
Our client, an ambitious start-up in the food-grade gas industry with four years of presence in the European market, is currently seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to establish and lead their new back office in Moldova. This pivotal role will support the sales office and play a key role in the company's international expansion efforts.
What will be your main responsibilities:

Establish the Moldovan office, including renting out the space, setting up IT infrastructure, hiring the right people in the team (marketing, accounting, legal, logistics).
Define workflows, objectives, organizational structures, and implement them.
Ensure legal compliance, prepare HR procedures, conduct job interviews, hire staff, and negotiate salaries.
Manage daily operations, develop strategies in alignment with company objectives, and make major corporate decisions.
Supervise departments, review financial and non-financial reports, oversee tax and accounting processes in compliance with regulations.
Monitor departmental cooperation, formulate strategies with the management board, and maintain market awareness.

What is required from you:

Previous experience in managing and/or opening small or medium business is a big advantage to perform well in this position.
Higher education in a relevant field.
Excellent communication, public speaking skills.
Fluency in English is a must.
Proven managerial experience and track record of developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
Strong knowledge in corporate finance, performance management, and best practices.
Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with diverse business functions and experience with accounting systems and ERP software.
Attributes of accuracy, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work under pressure.

Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and responsibility to build a business from scratch.

Terms of employment:

Salary: Competitive salary starting with 1,500 EURO per month, with potential growth after achieving milestones.
Working schedule: Full-time schedule (40 hours a week), from 8:00 to 16:00, work to be performed in the office to manage future employees and lead by example.
Probation period: 3 months, paid in full.
Additional benefits: Employment contract through IT Park, including work tools such as a laptop and phone, with the possibility of co-financing for trainings and courses.
