Ocean freight sales manager

Role Purpose:
Via Multima-Moldova SRL is looking for an ambitious and self-disciplined Sales Person for its ocean container transportation freight forwarding business for the office located in Chisinau.
You are the right candidate for this position if you have:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in sales/commercial role in a freight forwarding company.
- Fluency in English, Romanian and Russian with proficiency on business level (written and spoken).
- Open minded, flexible with strong self-confidence and stress resilience, combined with the ability to work as part of the team.
- Strong communications and negotiations skills.
- Ability to prospect and acquire new customers, as well as managing existing commercial relationships with a positive attitude, that would motivate clients (potential and actual) to continue communication.
- Ability to schedule and competently conduct meetings with potential clients.
- Self-motivation in work, self-discipline, organization, accuracy in doing business.
- Skill to work in team and loyalty to the company and its services.
From candidate will be expected / Area of responsibility:
- To process potential customers’ accounts from the information resource of the company by cold calls, written proposals, personal meetings;
- To self-identify potential customers, unknown to the company, by participating in exhibitions, tenders, from other sources of statistics information;
- To conduct negotiation with potential customers;
- To offer optimal transportation routes and logistics solutions for customers coupled with competitive cost of transportation;
- To efficiently interact with shipping lines, inland carriers and customs brokers.
