Your role inside our team:

We are looking for a well-experienced professional, willing to take his/her career a step upper with the help of highly challenging projects. In this particular case, you will face an heavy duty network management system dedicated to telecommunication, which allows to monitor, optimize and solve issues on a mobile or wired network. Going beyond the usual administrator scope, your role will take advantage of your networking knowledge and your analytics skills in order to provide content on the system, based on the data which are received.

Requirements:

UNIX/LINUX/SOLARIS

- OS installation, Kernel configuration;
- Proven experience on SNMP monitoring (from v1 to v3), simulations and discovery;
- OpenSource Software compilation and installation (gcc, cc);
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP network protocols and related network components, ability to analyze captured traffic;
- Database Servers, MySql, Postgresql, Oracle;
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning at OS and service level;
- Skills in technologies like QoS, Classmaps, MPLS;
- Good knowledge of Soap, Encryption, JNI, XML;
- Shell Scripting will be a plus.

NETWORK

- Network Security, VPN/Firewall (Linux & hardware appliances), Proxy, IDS/IPS;
- Advanced switching, IP-VPN, Métro-Ethernet, MPLS, xDSL, ATM, Frame Relay, QoS, IP-SLA, VLAN, WLAN, STP, Trunking, Stacking;
- Monitoring tools, Nagios, Netsaint, MRTG, Cacti;
- Advanced Routing, QoS, Bandwitdh Management;
- Remote support, KVM, DRAC, ALOM, HMC, RSA, AMM, ILO;
- Network and Unix/Linux certification is a plus;
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral are essential.
