Network Specialist, System Administrator

# Primary Skills: Experience with installing, setup, and troubleshooting operating systems, and software.
# Installing and repairing hardware.
# Providing maintenance and service on computers.
# Self-directed, assertive, reliable worker who works well independently or as part of a team.

The System and Network Administrator must have:
# Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with routers & switches, Internet firewalls, and wireless technology.
# Thorough understanding and experience working with networking services such as DHCP, DNS, and LDAP (Open DAP or Active Directory).
# Desktop, server, and network management.
# Proficient in desktop software environment including XP, Windows 7.
# Experience in help desk support, desktop installations, troubleshooting, and one-on-one training.
# Experience in network support including hubs, switches, wiring, and troubleshooting.
# Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Server for day-to-day administration, backup, and software service pack/upgrades/installations.
# Able to work, cooperate, and communicate well within a team environment.
# Good organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
# Self-motivated worker who takes the initiative to assume responsibility and ownership of problems and be self-driven to obtain resolution.
# Must be self directed and able to work independently with a minimum of direction;
# Eager to learn new skills, technology, and software applications.
# Excellent interpersonal skills for interfacing to premier customers, investors, board members, and senior management.

Responsibilities/Tasks:
# Manage the desktop, server, and networking environment (LAN and WAN).
# Provide application support for business groups.
# Implement IT infrastructure projects as required.
# Manage server environment, including application support, updates, and backups.
# Manage and maintain computer asset inventory.
# Provide deployment and support of our application systems.
# Working with the Marketing and Product Management teams for configuration, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualification:
Must have 2-3 years of experience in IT disciplines.
