Network Engineer

The Company:
An international company operating in the wholesale telecommunication market. The company avails of bilateral interconnection contracts with the most important worldwide telephone operators.

Job responsibilities:
•Ticketing activities for the Network Operation Centre to support the activities of the mother company and interconected clients
•Solve minor technical issues according to the procedures
•Undestand all running systems and open the tickets if the problem is complex or is not on our side

Requirements:
•1+ year professional experience
•Bachelor or Master degree in IT/ Telecommunication
•Linux basic administration (preferred)
•Networking
•TCP/IP and VoIP protocols (SIP/H.323)
•Wireshark
•Nagios
•PHP/ MySQL (preferred)
•Scripting languages - bash, Perl, python (preferred)
•English – intermediate level , Italian – basic (preferred)
