About the Project
Join our ambitious effort to revolutionize battery recycling. This is a modern, microservice-based system developed on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) using Dapr actors, Minimal APIs ( .NET), and Vue.js for front-end. The MES platform integrates real-time hardware like barcodescanners, smart scales, and thermal/OAK-D cameras to automate and streamline lithium-ion battery sorting and repurposing.
We are looking for a hands-on .NET Technical Lead to take architectural ownership, mentor a small
engineering team, and ensure smooth technical execution across the backend and infrastructure.
What You Will Do
Technical Leadership
Own and evolve system architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and clean separation of concerns
(Domain vs DTO, actor isolation).
Design and implement backend services using Minimal APIs, Entity Framework Core, and Dapr actors.
Drive architectural documentation (e.g., HLD, component diagrams, README for Helm/Bicep).
Review and refactor existing codebases, enforce formatting and testability.
Create and maintain architecture validation tests (e.g., NetArchTest rules).
Product Owner Support
Work closely with the client (Product Owner) to gather, clarify, and refine requirements
Translate business needs into technical tasks and ensure alignment with the team
Help prioritize backlog items and suggest trade-offs between scope, time, and resources
Support user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, and release planning
Act as the main point of contact between the business side and the development team
Support testing, participate in UAT, and ensure that delivered functionality meets business goals
DevOps & Infrastructure Oversight
Collaborate on Helm charts and Azure Bicep IaC scripts.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for code and infrastructure deployments.
Monitor application health using Prometheus and Grafana, and expand alerting rules.
Ensure services are ready for production (HPA, secrets management, autoscaling).
Testing and Code Quality
Define unit and integration testing strategies.
Establish test coverage metrics and integrate them into CI pipelines.
Ensure actor logic is covered by unit tests.
Support E2E and mock-based frontend testing.
Stakeholder & Product Collaboration
Work closely with the Product Owner and domain experts to understand user workflows.
Translate business requirements into technical tasks and user stories.
Help prioritize backlog and clarify acceptance criteria.
Participate in UAT and validate that features meet stakeholder goals.
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of professional experience with .NET (C#)
Strong experience in:
Dapr actors and service-to-service messaging
.NET 6+/Minimal APIs
Entity Framework Core + PostgreSQL
Azure Cloud + Kubernetes + Helm
DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, IaC)
Solid understanding of distributed system design and system observability
Experience with modular monorepo or multi-service structuring
Familiar with frontend/backend API integration and micro-frontend architecture (Vue.js familiarity is a bonus)
Strong testing culture (unit, integration, E2E)
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Have
Experience with hardware interaction (e.g., USB/COM peripherals, smart scales, cameras)
Familiarity with Python for scripting/test automation
Awareness of secure development practices and zero trust principles
Knowledge of Octopus Deploy or similar for environment-specific service provisioning
What You’ll Get
Private health insurance
Gym/sports subscription reimbursement
Education budget (certifications, courses, hardware)
Weekly 1-hour self-development time ("5 PM Club")
Flexible working hours
