National Consultant/Expert in Construction

Background:

The project is working with the armed forces of Moldova – the National Army, the Border Guards and the Carabineers – to target people in uniform (an estimated number of 10000, with an annual turnover of 5000 in recruits) and through them – their peers and their families (around 30000 yearly) – with communication and direct outreach prevention work. The project also deal with government officials, decision-makers and commanders in the armed forces, local public authorities and NGOs to strengthen their capacity in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS/STI plans and activities. One of the tasks of the project is establishment of Voluntary Counselling and Testing Rooms within specific Medical Departments.

Tasks and responsibilities:

To estimate the overall works necessary for the renovation of the spaces predestinated for VCT rooms
To estimate the overall costs and construction materials necessary for the renovation of the spaces predestinated for VCT rooms
To prepare the estimate in Romanian


Qualifications and skills required:

At least five (5) years of nationally (and/or internationally) recognized professional experience in construction
License in construction
Proven capacity, references
Excellent knowledge of Romanian and Russian
