WANTED:
Musician/music teacher/conductor from Moldova with classical music background to lead and develop a young orchestra of 10-12 talented students at a private, secular Turkish school (K-12) in Malatya, Turkey.
Knowledge about how to play a stringed instrument (violin, viola, cello) is desired since the students play stringed instruments.
The school is on the same campus as Inonu University and there is close partnership between the school and the university. Malatya has a population of around 500,000 and is known for its apricots.
Knowing how to speak Turkish is not required.
There are weekly weekend rehearsals and monthly performances.
Optional - Knowledge about jazz.
Benefits include housing, insurance, visa and work permit and transportation to and from school.
