Microfinance Consultant—Agriculture

Duty station: Chisinau / Yerevan / Tbilisi

Job responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and expansion of microfinance activities, predominantly lending to small farms
• Train lending staff at credit organizations and banks
• Assist in credit risk analysis of micro and small enterprises
• Participate in the development of adequate lending procedures
• Draw up reports and analyses
• Implement innovations in marketing and business process optimization

Requirements:
• University or equivalent degree in agriculture
• Practical work experience in emerging markets is an asset
• Fluency in English, good knowledge of Russian or Romanian preferable
• Ability to learn fast, self-confident, a team player
• Willingness to travel in the NIS and Asia Regions
