Job requirements:
A minimum 3 years marketing or journalist experience.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and email (Outlook) skills
Education in journalism is a plus.
Be able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
Creative and innovative.
Good attention to detail, team player
Demonstrated success in implementing media campaigns
Experience working closely with senior level executives
Excellent written and oral communication skills (samples required).
Ability to manage multiple projects and demands at a time.
Excellent writing skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
Fluency in Romanian, English & Russian.
Creative, ambitious, active and eager to work.

Key duties/responsibilities of Media and PR Assistant:
1. Manage relationships with a variety of media including blogs, online, print and broadcast.
2. Assist with company representation on social media outlets.
1. Manage and attend media related events.
2. Serve as company spokesperson on occasion.
3. Support marketing campaigns in terms of media placement and PR.
4. Develop and implement marketing campaigns when needed.
5. Drafting and editing press releases and by-line articles to high standard consistent with company messaging guidelines.
6. Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the media – including newspapers, magazines, radio, and television – and company’s spokespeople.
7. Responding to enquiries from reporters.
8. Assisting with press attendance at company events.
9. Publicizing high-profile media coverage on company website and maintaining the PR presence on local press channels.
10. Provide counsel to senior colleagues on messaging and media relations; host media interviews.
11. Write and distribute company announcements.
12. Assist in managing external PR agency activity as appropriate.
13. Assist in managing external media agency activity for design, negotiation, and buy advertising in local media.
14. Monitoring of company’s media and PR appearances
15. Maintains database of media contacts.
16. Produce a newsletter.
17. Maintain organization Web site: up to date the pictures, copy, announcements, attendance, etc. online once per week and keep events lists updated.
