Looking for Mechanical Design Leads for Automotive Lighting in permanent contract to join our team!

Project start time: August 2025
Location: Jihlava , Czech Republic.
Number of open positions: 13 full time engineers

Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Design of Automotive Headlamp & Rear lamp
- Experience in Exterior & Interior lighting systems
- Lead the design team and interact with cross functional teams of Optics, Electronics, Development teams
- Manage the plastic component design & development from post styling till start of production
- Ensure compliance to customer development process
- Keep agreed milestones and deliver results according to project plan Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Automotive Industry on Automotive Lighting design & development
- Degree in engineering is preferred

Experience in:
- Automotive Lighting design & development
- Plastic component design & development
- Knowledge of plastic material & manufacturing process especially injection moulding process
- Design for Manufacturing & Design for Assembly
- Knowledge of Tolerances & stack up methods
- Understanding of simulation methods for plastics (Structural, Thermal, Moldflow) and imparting the recommendations back to design
- Basic understanding of optics, Lighting electro-mechanical systems
- Hands of experience using CATIA V5. 3D & 2D is mandatory.
- Additional skill of NF is preferred
- Ability to work in teams and coordinate the task while leading a team of designers
