Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (www.bfconsulting.org), specializing in microfinance development and consulting, offers a challenging job opportunity for Logistics Officer.
Duty station: Chisinau (Moldova)
Job responsibilities:
* Coordinate and provide a full range of operational logistical support for project start-ups and implementation
* Make international travel arrangements for BFC consultants (arranging flights and hotel reservations, visas, budgeting expenses etc.)
* Arrange meetings and prepare business-travel profiles for BFC projects staff
* Be in charge of tracking travel expenses and drafting business trip budgets
* Prepare travel related invoices
* Maintain communication and business correspondence with BFC partners, clients, and beneficiaries
* Monitor administrative aspects of project implementation
* Supervise and provide backstopping for project accounting
* Provide follow-up and insure timely completion of projects
* Perform written translations
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
* At least two years of relevant work experience, experience within travel agencies will be an asset
* Fluency in English, Romanian and Russian
* Excellent writing and business communication skills in English is a must
* Knowledge of German will be an asset
* Experience in writing professional, business letters
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer skills
* Good planning and organisational skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels
* Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure
* Fast learner, self-confident, a team player
* High sense of responsibility
