Logistics Officer (Moldova)

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (www.bfconsulting.org), specializing in microfinance development and consulting, offers a challenging job opportunity for Logistics Officer.

Duty station: Chisinau (Moldova)

Job responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide a full range of operational logistical support for project start-ups and implementation
• Make international travel arrangements for BFC consultants (arranging flights and hotel reservations, visas, budgeting expenses etc.)
• Arrange meetings and prepare business-travel profiles for BFC projects staff
• Be in charge of tracking travel expenses and drafting business trip budgets
• Prepare travel related invoices
• Maintain communication and business correspondence with BFC partners, clients, and beneficiaries
• Monitor administrative aspects of project implementation
• Supervise and provide backstopping for project accounting
• Provide follow-up and insure timely completion of projects
• Perform written translations
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

• At least two years of relevant work experience, experience within travel agencies will be an asset
• Fluency in English, Romanian and Russian
• Excellent writing and business communication skills in English is a must
• Knowledge of German will be an asset
• Experience in writing professional, business letters
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer skills
• Good planning and organisational skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure
• Fast learner, self-confident, a team player
• High sense of responsibility
