Avantaj Prim is an IT company that develops fintech services and gaming projects for PC, Mobile, and VR/AR platforms.
We are residents of the IT Park, have been operating in the market for more than 20 years, and already have over 100 specialists on our team.
What you’ll be doing
Developing content strategy and level design pipelines.
Defining the taxonomy of levels and objectives.
Conducting competitor analysis and comparison. Preparing structured documents and presentations using visualization tools such as Miro, Figma, Notion, and Google Slides to clearly illustrate interaction chains and game systems.
Designing and implementing new game mechanics.
Testing mechanics and levels, analyzing data, and improving based on metrics and player feedback.
Acting as a liaison between the game designer, level designers, and analysts to ensure a cohesive and balanced gameplay experience.
Building difficulty curves and progression for boosters and obstacles: goals, move limits, no-match limits, and anti-frustration mechanics.
Constructing levels using tile/blocker sets, generators, and spawn tables.
Setting up event telemetry, conducting A/B tests of variations.
Working with the level editor (Unity custom tools).
Preparing QA specifications, writing test cases for solvability and edge cases, supporting releases, and tracking regressions.
Linking levels with meta-economy, seasonal events, and quests.
Planning content drops and rotations, maintaining a level backlog and release calendar.
We expect from the candidate
4+ years in game design, including 2+ years in F2P level design; participation in commercial project releases (portfolio/links required).
Understanding of Match-3 mechanics: board generation, match priorities, chain reactions, boosters/super combos, blockers and their synergies.
Confident in Unity (level editor, ScriptableObjects, prefabs).
Experience with data-driven balancing: Google Sheets/Excel (ETR/WR models), A/B testing, dashboard analysis (Amplitude/GameAnalytics/Firebase).
Experience building a quality control pipeline for levels: checklists, solvability verification, version control (Git/Perforce), Jira/Confluence.
Initiative in proposing ideas that enhance gameplay experience and player retention.
Nice to have
Experience creating custom tools for the Unity level editor (Unity Editor tooling), basic Python scripts for parsing/validation.
Knowledge of F2P monetization principles (energy, saves, offers) and their connection between level ↔ offer/event.
Experience with VR/XR hand-tracking (Meta XR, OpenXR), and tuning haptics/spatial audio for state readability.
Familiarity with AI/PCG tools for generating or pre-laying out levels and providing balance suggestions.
