Position: Junior Java Developer
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
 Will have at least 1-2 years of experience developing production
quality commercial software
 Reviews, analyzes, and modifies existing software systems including coding, testing, debugging, and installation
 Create the functional and technical specifications used to implement solutions at an enterprise level.
 Conducts hands-on application development of software and technology leveraging Java, JDBC, J2EE (JMS, JSP, Servlets, Web Services), JFC, Java Swing, SQL server, XML, XSLT, Tomcat, Topic Map technology, RDF, Linux
 Create Integration and Unit test plans, perform integration/unit testing based on documented test plans, and document results of the test plan execution
 Delivers artifacts within planned time lines
 Understands and applies organization's processes, procedures, design, coding and quality standards
 Communicates status of work in a timely fashion
 Works independently and is as well a team player
 Conducts reviews and evaluations of the work completed by peers
