Java web developer

This is a full time position, based in our Chisinau office.

We are looking for skilled Java developers with various industry or academic exposure. This is an interesting and challenging position as you will be involved in building granular but innovative applications. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Java developer capable of thriving in a complex technical environment using his Java development experience, specifically with Java, Servlet, Tomcat and/or WebSphere, MVC frameworks (such as spring) running with a MySQL and Unix/Linux backend to build and maintain high-performing services with compelling features and UIs.

Required Skills:
Web application development experience using Java EE, JPA, JSF, JSP, Spring, REST, Jersey, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
Experience working in an Agile environment such as scrum. Participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, planning and other required meetings
Knowledge of object oriented design and design patterns
Work with external teams to resolve testing issues and bug fixes.

Additional requirements:
Good written/verbal English is desired
Strong problem solving skills is a must
Strong coding skills and ethic is a must
Basic product management skills a plus
Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
Above average written and verbal communication skills

Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience in professional software development required.

Education
University/Academic background preferred, however not required. Good sense of humor is required.
