Java developers are urgently needed to work on projects of the American company Edifecs Inc. Based on good results during employment in Moldova, the best developers will be hired by Edifecs on H1-B visa to work in the USA headquarters located in the State of Washington.
Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
Good Java development skills.
Knowledge of Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Multi-threading.
Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle
JavaScript / HTML / XML / CSS / XSLT / XSD knowledge.
Team Player / Quick Learner / Uncompromising integrity.
Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with large-scale enterprise java application
Knowledge of Java debugging tools and techniques (remote debugging, jhat, jmap, jconsole, etc.)
OSGi experience is a plus.
Experience with Unix-like systems
SVN / Ant / Maven knowledge.
Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers (Tomcat / GlassFish / JBoss / WebSphere).
Experience in working with ORM frameworks. Hibernate is a plus.
Edifecs Inc. is an American major provider of software solutions for US Healthcare. Since 2000, Edifecs collaborates with EstComputer SRL, a Moldovan company distinguished with International Star for Quality, which is also the representative of Edifecs in Moldova. Currently a large number of engineers, including medium and top level managers, working for Edifecs in US, are Moldovans who came from EstComputer over 12 years along. On most projects, the Moldovans from Moldova report to Moldovans from US.
Each year a performance review followed by a salary review is arranged to maintain salaries above average per Moldova IT industry, as per Price Waterhouse evaluation. A bonus system aplies to best performing employees.
EstComputer is located in one of the most comfortable and fashionable buildings in Chisinau, Stefan cel Mare 171/1 (“Eximbank” building). The flexible working hours are treated by employees as a benefit. About 40 hours per year is allocated for each employee on continual education and the company finances certifications.
