Java developer – banking & finance - Bucharest

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyzes and defines, together with the internal clients, the IT&C solution provided by the software architect.
- Performs analysis and design for new IT software solutions or for determining change requests impact on the existing ones.
- Designs software modules and their interactions, modeling also the database structures in order to develop the application.
- Codes the modules using the appropriate programming language and technologies.
- Prepares functional test cases for the new program/ module.
- Runs the tests according to the plan and applying the necessary corrections.
- Develops data migration programs for software replacements.
- Prepares and updates documentation for the developed software.

Required skills & experience:

- Previous software development experience – over 3 years’ experience.
- Understand software development lifecycle in relation with business needs.
- Good soft skills and English level.

Technical skills:

- AIX, Linux, Windows OS
- Java2EE, JSP, HTML/CSS
- Design patterns, UML, Application integration, Business Process Management, Enterprise Content Management
- Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, JQuery, MVC, Ajax.
- Application servers: WebSphere Portal Server, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat.
- Tools: RAD, Eclipse, Mercury Quality Center
- Data bases: Oracle, MySQL
- Working experience according to Agile/Scrum methodology
