Mandatory skills: J2ME - interface, security, communication APIs (SOAP web services), online payment system integration, online video/streaming. The candidate must know well specifics between different handsets with J2ME support (Nokia, SonyEricsson, Apple, LG, Blackberry).
Desirable skills: Specific BlackBerry APIs; Android; iPhone SDK, Objective C; SQL or mySQL; Exposure to the following products: Project Planning, Version Control, Defect Management and Configuration Management; Team player, self starter with excellent time management and communication skills; Must have experience of leading developers in some capacity; Well organized and strong in documentation; Adept at technical design, OO knowledge and familiarity with UML required Knowledge of the full software delivery lifecycle; Some experience of managing client\stakeholder relationships;
Project description: The projects will consist of developing a set of applications for handsets with J2ME support (Nokia, LG, Blackberry, etc). The 1st team will build a mobile app for a UK well known football club (only video, players profiles, etc). The other team will build a mobile app for a huge training service company in UK (maps, routing, train schedules, announcements and even online payments).
The candidate will be responsible for: Delivery of team development projects in line with agreed dates, resources and technical specifications; Provide an up to date weekly plan for their Team to the Development Manager for the start of each week.
