IT Specialist

Foreign company specialized in logistics and distribution services.

Job Description:
The IT Specialist focusses on the development and design of our ticketing tool (HEAT).

Main tasks:
• You will offer first line support to our colleagues who use our ticketing tool
• Automations based on the customer’s requirements
• Improve the functionality of our current ticketing tool (such as Incident Mgt, Request Mgt, Problem Mgt, Change Mgt and Knowledge Mgt)
• You are responsible for technical maintenance of our ticketing tool and the server(s) it’s running on
• Provide technical and functional consultancy to our customers on how to use the system in the best possible way
• Write technical documents such as knowledge articles and release notes. You are also expected to keep documentation up-to-date
• Create reports based on the customer’s requirements


Requirements:

Mandatory:
• University degree or equal by experience
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong communicative skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Willingness for short assignments abroad
• Windows Server 2012 R2
• Basic knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Basic experience in scripting (PowerShell)
• SQL Server 2008 or later
- Creating/Restoring back-ups
- Monitoring the database health
- Performing basic queries

Will be an asset (trainable):
• Active Directory
• Microsoft Exchange
• Report Builder
• Experience in ITIL
